Malasadas Pao Doce Home

Are you a plain sugar or a cinnamon-sugar? Or do you like ‘em stuffed with one of our delicious fillings?

No matter what your favorite, our malasadas are well-loved by everyone! Back in the day, we started making malasadas as part of the Portuquese tradition for Shrove Tuesday (see our story page for more on that).

Now, we make them continuously every day of the year so you get them hot & fresh. Whether stopping into the bakery or walking by one of our wagons, no one can resist a Leonard’s Malasada!

A malasada is sort of like a doughnut without the hole. We fry generously-sized balls of dough until the crust is golden brown with a light and fluffy inside. Because our dough is made with the finest ingredients, you get a malasada with a sweet toasted flavor, both crunchy and chewy. Ono, as we say here in Hawai’i!

Call ahead for large orders please, 737-5591.
